Geographical Skills and Knowledge

Our Kites loved using our bespoke Ordinance Survey maps of the local area to develop their geographical skills and knowledge. They can confidently give 6 figure grid references for points of interest. They also developed their understanding of land use in the local area.
Year 5/ 6 have also developed brilliant geographical skills and knowledge as part of our biomes topic. Drawing climate graphs is a great skill and not an easy one. They have done some excellent analysis using geographical vocabulary, next gen geographers in the making!
